Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and emails from customers currently traveling or interested in purchasing/researching travel
Greet and converse with customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner
Effectively turn customer inquiries into sales
Utilize appropriate selling techniques to meet revenue and close rate goals
Research travel rates, destinations, options and packages for customers
Provide information, suggestions and options in a manner that is accurate, effectively meets the needs of customers, and entices them to purchase
Accurately track and report call types and service issues
Requirements
High school degree or equivalent (required)
College or some college degree (preferred)
Two years of customer sales, upsales, telemarketing and service experience (required)
Two years Corporate or leisure travel industry experience (required)
One-year international booking experience
Strong communication skills are required
