Manager, Credit Card Engagement & Retention - 1 - year contract in Toronto. Drive squad effectiveness and cross - functional initiatives.
About the role
- Assistant Project Manager at Thales managing project scope, schedule, and risk for defense programs. Overseeing integration across project areas and ensuring compliance with governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Support integration of scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality activities across assigned areas of the JSS program.
- Maintain alignment between project plans, contractual requirements, and Thales PMO governance.
- Manage assigned work packages or discrete project activities under the direction of the Project Manager.
- Support definition and control of project scope in accordance with contract and statement of work.
- Assist with development and maintenance of work breakdown structures (WBS).
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed schedules for assigned scope.
- Support cost forecasting, variance analysis, and estimate-at-completion (EAC) updates.
- Support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planning.
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and briefing materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Project Management, or a related field or in lieu of a degree, 3 years of directly relate education and/ or experience as equivalency
- At least 3 years of experience in a project coordination or assistant project management role.
- Experience supporting complex programs in defence, naval, marine, aerospace, or other regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of standard project management practices across scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, particularly Project, Excel, and PowerPoint (or equivalent tools).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ideally a candidate would also have PMP / CAPM Certification.
