About the role

IT Project Manager managing IT projects and supervising teams at Linamar Corporation. Ensuring alignment with business objectives while handling budgets and communications with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Assistance in establishing yearly IT budgets.
Directs personnel and their activities, reviews and evaluates their work.
Management of the relationship with the various stakeholders; interacts with customers, suppliers, business units, etc.
Supervision of project teams including Junior, Intermediate and Senior Business Analysts and Application Administrators; which includes providing mentorship, motivation, and follow-up as necessary.
Performs complex or extensive scope business analysis work including work flow analysis, business information requirements and models.
Responsible for project budgets.
Defines scope and objectives.
Prepares functional process charts to analyze business operations.
Provides orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.

A university degree in the field of computer science, information science, management information systems, or business administration
PMI PMP Certification is preferred
At least five years of experience.
Prior ERP experience is required.
Some knowledge of programming languages, such as Visual Studio; SQL language and databases, such as MS-SQL, DTS, Oracle, DB2; report tools, such as Crystal Enterprise; desktop and server operating systems and hardware; networking and protocols.
