About the role

  • Project Coordinator supporting electrical infrastructure construction projects at Victor Energy. Tracking schedules, costs, risks, documentation, and stakeholder communications for project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide execution and coordination support to the project execution team and Project Manager
  • Monitor project progress and create project status reports, including data collection and verification
  • Track project milestones and deliverables, including assisting with resource scheduling
  • Schedule meetings, facilitate stakeholder communication, and follow up on actions
  • Manage project-related inquiries and escalations and provide timely formal responses
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and tasks
  • Prepare reports and track project costs, including change request backup
  • Prepare, maintain, and monitor the risk register and gather updates
  • Maintain project documents such as project plans, budgets, schedules, and scope statements
  • Provide additional support requested by the Project Manager, including tracking quality documentation and financial information
  • Assist with parsing and meeting project requirements from internal and external teams
  • Use approved systems in alignment with company expectations
  • Promote health, safety, and environmental protection on the project

Requirements

  • Degree or certification in business administration, project management, or a related field
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in a fast paced administrative or coordinator role
  • Utility construction experience is a strong asset, including working in a construction office at site
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and confidence interacting with key contacts at all levels in verbal, written, and electronic form
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of project management and/or scheduling software such as MS Project
  • Proven ability to understand construction administration and contract commercial terms
  • Analytical skills and a logical, independent problem-solving ability
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
