About the role

Project Coordinator supporting electrical infrastructure construction projects at Victor Energy. Tracking schedules, costs, risks, documentation, and stakeholder communications for project delivery.

Responsibilities

Provide execution and coordination support to the project execution team and Project Manager
Monitor project progress and create project status reports, including data collection and verification
Track project milestones and deliverables, including assisting with resource scheduling
Schedule meetings, facilitate stakeholder communication, and follow up on actions
Manage project-related inquiries and escalations and provide timely formal responses
Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and tasks
Prepare reports and track project costs, including change request backup
Prepare, maintain, and monitor the risk register and gather updates
Maintain project documents such as project plans, budgets, schedules, and scope statements
Provide additional support requested by the Project Manager, including tracking quality documentation and financial information
Assist with parsing and meeting project requirements from internal and external teams
Use approved systems in alignment with company expectations
Promote health, safety, and environmental protection on the project

Degree or certification in business administration, project management, or a related field
2 to 4 years’ experience in a fast paced administrative or coordinator role
Utility construction experience is a strong asset, including working in a construction office at site
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and confidence interacting with key contacts at all levels in verbal, written, and electronic form
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of project management and/or scheduling software such as MS Project
Proven ability to understand construction administration and contract commercial terms
Analytical skills and a logical, independent problem-solving ability
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
