About the role

  • AI Product Manager responsible for defining AI product requirements, managing backlog, and collaborating cross-functionally. Requires understanding of ML concepts and responsible AI principles.

Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Ownership & Execution: Assist in defining product requirements for AI-driven features. Gather and synthesize user insights to shape product problem statements. Create PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Support evaluation of new vendor tools against business needs. Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, and cross-team reviews. Maintain a well-structured and prioritized AI product backlog. Track progress toward milestones, identifying risks and dependencies. Contribute to documentation, release notes, and launch readiness activities. 2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, engineering, and design teams throughout development. Support data collection and evaluation cycles tied to product performance. 3. AI & ML Understanding (Foundational): Possess a working understanding of machine learning concepts (e.g., accuracy, training data, model behaviors). Assist in monitoring basic AI performance metrics. 4. User Feedback & Quality Monitoring: Collect and analyze user feedback on AI feature performance. Help identify issues such as inaccuracies, hallucinations, latency, or UX friction. Support coordination of bug triage and ongoing enhancements. 5. Responsible AI Compliance: Promote adherence to responsible AI principles (fairness, transparency, privacy). Escalate concerns regarding biased or misleading model outputs.
