About the role
- Data Analyst role monitoring capital markets data systems, investigating breaches, supporting releases, and performing testing. Long-term contract with competitive pay rate.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze centralized data related to capital markets. Investigate and resolve data breaches and quality issues. Support and execute monthly data releases and testing procedures. Develop and perform test scenarios and cases for system updates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance. Assist in creating dashboards and reports using Power BI or Alteryx as needed. Maintain documentation of data processes and testing outcomes.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in capital markets data analysis. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Python and/or SQL. Experience in testing and validation of data systems. Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets. Nice to Have: Skills in creating dashboards with Power BI or Alteryx. Knowledge of writing detailed test scenarios and cases. Familiarity with data breach investigations and monitoring tools. Prior experience working in a financial services environment.
