About the role
- Java/Python Developer needed in Downtown Toronto for a hybrid contract role. Must have 7+ years of development experience and recent Python skills.
Responsibilities
- We are seeking a Java/Python Developer for a contract position in Downtown Toronto. The role involves developing applications end-to-end with hands-on experience in Java, Python, or C++. The ideal candidate will have exposure to architecture patterns such as message-based ETL, SQL batch, real-time programming, and schedule-based batch, as well as proficiency with Pandas Dataframe and Numpy. Experience with cloud-native technologies including GCP, Google Cloud Functions, BigQuery, DataFlow, DataProc, and Pub/Sub is a plus.
Requirements
- 1) 7+ years of previous experience as a Developer (using any of: Java, Python, C++) with hands-on experience developing applications end-to-end. 2) 1+ years’ recent experience in Python programming. Nice-to-have: Exposure to various architecture patterns and design such as message based ETL SQL batch, real-time programming, schedule-based batch; Proficiency with Pandas Dataframe and Numpy; Experience with cloud-native technologies (GCP, Google Cloud Functions, BigQuery, DataFlow, DataProc, Pub/Sub).
