About the role
- Product Manager for SAP Security and Controls at Air Canada. Lead governance framework, ensure ICFR compliance, and oversee SAP security controls in S4Hana RISE environment.
Responsibilities
- Establish and mature the organization’s SAP GRC, security and controls governance framework to reduce access risk, improve audit readiness, and enable scalable system growth. Serve as the owner for security and controls governance over the SAP ERP S4Hana RISE environment. Oversee the design, governance, and ongoing effectiveness of SAP access and security controls that support compliance with NI 52-109 internal control over financial reporting requirements. Act as the primary liaison between IT, Finance, Internal Audit, and External Audit for SAP-related controls. Own and maintain control documentation, monitor control performance, oversee governance of SAP change management controls, lead risk assessments, review control deficiencies, and lead SAP control readiness activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business or a related field with a minimum of 5+ relevant working experience. Professional certifications such as CPA, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or SAP GRC IAG/Security certifications are considered an asset. Experience working with SAP ERP environments in a security, controls, or governance capacity. Strong understanding of internal controls over financial reporting frameworks. Experience assessing risk and controls related to system changes, ERP implementations, or major transformations. Understanding of how ERP systems support financial reporting processes. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes. Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
