- Procom seeks a Project Cost Controller for a 16-month hybrid contract in Ottawa. Requires Secret clearance and cost control experience.
Responsibilities
- Procom is currently looking for a Project Cost Controller for our client in the private sector. THIS CONTRACT HAS A TBD START DATE AND GOES FOR 16 MONTHS LATER (GREAT CHANCE OF EXTENSION). LOCATION: HYBRID — 3 DAYS OFFICE / 2 DAYS REMOTE IN OTTAWA. SCHEDULE / HOURS: 40 HOURS/WEEK; CORE HOURS MONDAY–FRIDAY, 9–3. ENGAGEMENT TYPE: CONTRACT WITH POTENTIAL TO MOVE TO PERM. LANGUAGE: ENGLISH. CLEARANCE: SECRET (MUST HOLD BEFORE SUBMISSION). REFERENCES: 2.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Arts (major in Accounting), and/or similar education and equivalent experience. 1-3 years of experience in large multi-national or national organization, in the Defense & Security sector or previous experience in project cost controlling. Experience working on projects and knowledge of basic project management and the project lifecycle. Knowledge and previous experience working with different business systems and tools (i.e. SAP, Primavera and Excel).
