About the role

  • Project Manager for government IT initiatives in Toronto. Requires IT project management experience, Agile methodologies, and public-sector PMO framework knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of business cases, roadmaps, and briefing notes. Manage the full project lifecycle (scope, schedule, budget, risks). Coordinate technical teams and stakeholders across departments. Deliver project plans, status reports, and PMO documentation. Guide projects through Enterprise Architecture governance checkpoints. Facilitate requirements gathering, solution analysis, and cost evaluations.

Requirements

  • Strong background in IT project management and Agile methodologies. Experience delivering projects within government PMO frameworks. Familiarity with enterprise environments including: .NET / ASP.NET, MS Windows, MS SQL Server, Java / Oracle, Team Foundation Server. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Public Sector Experience: Leading business cases, IT roadmaps, and operational deliverables; Advising stakeholders and senior decision makers; Navigating organizational and political environments.
