About the role
- Senior IT Project/Program Manager contract in Toronto for IFRS 17 Process Optimization. Requires 10+ years experience and strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- You will help improve the end-to-end financial reporting process for Global Insurance, specifically around the complexities created by IFRS 17 accounting standards. You will work closely with teams across Corporate Finance, Insurance Finance, Technology, Risk/Regulatory, Business Stakeholders, Vendors, and Delivery Teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT Project/Program Management experience; strong knowledge of IFRS 17; understanding of accounting principles/financial reporting; experience working in a large financial institution; strong Agile/Waterfall delivery experience; hands-on MS Project, Excel, Visio experience; strong stakeholder, vendor, and executive communication skills. Bonus: PMP certification, regulatory or risk remediation experience, Corporate Finance project exposure, recent Top 5 Canadian Bank experience.
