About the role

  • Regional Sales Director selling Archistar's AI planning and permitting technology to Canadian municipalities. Building government relationships, pipelines and complex enterprise deals across Ontario or British Columbia.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a territory strategy across Canadian local government
  • Create and develop a strong pipeline of new municipal opportunities
  • Build trusted relationships with CIOs, Chief Building Officials, planning and development leaders, permitting teams, procurement executives and other government stakeholders
  • Identify municipalities seeking to modernise planning, permitting and development approvals
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement and discovery through demonstrations, business cases, procurement and contract
  • Navigate RFPs, RFQs, public-sector procurement and multi-stakeholder decision-making
  • Develop strategic relationships across the Canadian municipal and GovTech ecosystem
  • Collaborate with Government Solutions, Customer, Product, Technology and Marketing teams to build successful long-term partnerships
  • Represent Archistar at government, municipal and industry events
  • Bring market intelligence and customer insight into the business
  • Own pipeline, forecasting and revenue performance
  • Personally develop opportunities and lead municipal technology sales from first conversation through procurement and contract

Requirements

  • 7+ years' enterprise SaaS or technology sales experience
  • Strong track record selling into Canadian municipalities or the broader public sector
  • Established relationships within the Canadian municipal or GovTech ecosystem
  • Demonstrated success creating pipeline and winning new government customers
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales
  • Strong knowledge of RFPs, RFQs and public-sector procurement
  • History of achieving or exceeding significant sales targets
  • Confidence engaging CIOs, government executives, operational leaders and technical leaders
  • Ability to translate sophisticated technology into a clear and compelling business case
  • Strong commercial, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experience selling permitting, planning, land management, building approvals, GIS, regulatory technology, civic technology or digital government solutions highly regarded
