About the role
- Field Service Technician applying technical skills to maintain and repair Arjo products in a healthcare setting. Supporting customer operations for mobility challenges while promoting service agreements.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and providing preventative maintenance and repair services at healthcare facilities.
- Effectively promoting and sell Arjo service agreements and products.
- Supervising equipment installation and/or performing uncrate and assembly services.
- Instructing customer’s personnel in the operation and proper use of the equipment.
- Assisting sales personnel in marketing all Arjo equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads).
- Maintaining an organized parts inventory in a clean Company vehicle.
- Deliver and retrieve medical equipment, including loading and unloading.
- Prepare, clean and process equipment to quality standards.
- Complete required onsite documentation with medical staff.
- Provide safe-use instruction and professional customer service at all times.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of field based electromechanical repair and maintenance experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of face to face technical customer service experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of sales and/or promotion of service products experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and technical repair skills.
- Ability to travel to multiple customer sites on a regular basis, including overnight stays when needed.
