About the role

  • Environmental Project Manager overseeing site assessments and managing environmental projects in Alberta. Guiding junior staff and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Set and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Supervision and mentorship of junior professional staff
  • Communicate results of site assessment to stakeholders
  • Prepare site assessment report(s)
  • Characterize environmental aspects of site based on data interpretation
  • Develop environmental sampling protocols

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Geology, Agrology, Biology, or Environmental Sciences
  • Ability to acquire professional designation within two years if not currently registered
  • Minimum of 8 years of environmental consulting experience
  • 4+ years of project planning, coordinating, and management experience
  • Strong understanding of Alberta guidelines and provincial/federal environmental regulations
  • Technical skills in Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)
  • Valid Class 5 Full driver’s license with clean driving record
