Responsibilities
Manage multiple, simultaneous ERP implementations and customer engagements
Maintain overall control of project schedule, budget, and scope
Plan, organize, lead, and monitor project team activities
Build project plans and schedule resources
Ensure project plans and work products are based on approved requirements
Ensure sufficient resources are available for all project activities
Prepare management deliverables and use them to conduct projects
Notify the Client Steering Committee and Client Project Manager of open issues and submit resolution recommendations
Maintain regular contact with the Client Project Manager and provide project progress status
Track deliverables, Project Change Requests, decisions, and outstanding issues
Negotiate commitments and changes with affected groups
Update documents and project work plans for approved Project Change Requests
Keep Professional Services Managers informed about their customers and facilitate engagement where appropriate
Work closely with the Professional Services Team to ensure solution delivery and consulting engagements achieve expected results and customer satisfaction
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, MIS or an equivalent field is required
PMP Certification or the ability to obtain PMP certification within the first 12 months in the position
Three or more years of project management experience required
Five or more years of manufacturing and/or distribution software implementation experience
Proven success in software project implementation and deployment
Experience with Sage X3 is preferred
Prior professional services and/or consulting experience is preferred
Strong leadership, collaboration, written, oral, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills
Flexibility with task assignments, priorities, and work environment
Willingness to travel 25 to 50 percent of the time
Detail oriented, with strong analytical, numerical, planning, and reasoning abilities
Ability to work independently and on a team
Entrepreneurial attitude; self-motivated and self-directed
Open minded, with a desire to learn
