About the role

  • Project Coordinator coordinating survey documentation, field crews, subcontractors, and schedules for AtkinsRéalis transit infrastructure projects in Toronto. Supporting project tracking, compliance, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

  • Process project progress billings and timesheets, and monitor budget compliance for project tracking and reporting
  • Manage, organize, and transmit survey documentation, deliverables, and records according to project standards and client requirements
  • Track survey field activities, deliverables, and milestones to support timely completion and project schedules
  • Maintain survey trackers, work plans, schedules, and project status reports
  • Coordinate site access requirements and compliance with safety, security, and client protocols
  • Prepare survey request packages, scopes of work, and requirements for field crews and subcontractors
  • Coordinate survey field activities, crew scheduling, equipment requirements, and subcontractor resources
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate survey updates, risks, constraints, and schedule impacts to stakeholders
  • Manage survey requests, field reports, drawings, permits, control records, and deliverables
  • Coordinate subcontractor submittals and documentation for completeness and contractual compliance
  • Liaise with project managers, survey crews, engineers, contractors, utility stakeholders, and clients

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a project coordination, survey coordination, geomatics, or construction support role
  • Experience supporting land surveying, utility coordination, infrastructure, transportation, or civil construction projects
  • Experience working with document management systems and maintaining project records and trackers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, survey plans, specifications, utility records, and construction documents
  • Strong understanding of survey processes, field operations, deliverables, and project scheduling
