About the role

  • Paid Social Manager leading Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok campaigns for a performance marketing agency serving higher education and nonprofits. Optimizing audiences, creative, and conversions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, performance, and optimization of paid social campaigns across a portfolio of education-focused clients
  • Lead Paid Social strategy and execution across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other relevant social channels
  • Develop audience strategies using demographics, behaviors, interests, first-party data, and campaign objectives
  • Build, launch, and optimize prospecting, retargeting, and conversion-focused campaigns
  • Partner with Creative teams on ad concepts, hooks, messaging, formats, and creative testing
  • Analyze creative performance and identify effective hooks, messages, visuals, and formats
  • Establish testing frameworks across audiences, creative, messaging, placements, and campaign structures
  • Monitor CPM, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, CPA/CPL, and ROAS
  • Identify creative fatigue and recommend new concepts and variations
  • Translate campaign and creative performance data into insights and actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with Analytics and Account Services on tracking, reporting, and attribution
  • Stay current on platform updates, ad formats, audience targeting capabilities, and paid social trends
  • Collaborate with Account Services, Analytics, Creative, and Paid Media teams
  • Participate in introductory, Paid Search, team, and leadership interviews

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on Paid Social experience, ideally within an agency or multi-account environment
  • Strong expertise across platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, or similar
  • Proven experience managing performance-focused paid social campaigns with meaningful budgets
  • Strong understanding of audience development, creative strategy, and conversion-focused advertising
  • Demonstrated ability to identify what makes creative perform and translate those insights into new testing opportunities
  • Experience developing and managing structured creative and audience testing programs
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to connect creative and audience performance with business outcomes
  • Experience optimizing campaigns for lead generation, inquiries, applications, enrollments, donations, or other conversion-focused goals
  • Strong understanding of CPM, CTR, CPC, CVR, CPA/CPL, and ROAS
  • Excellent client-facing and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts and campaigns simultaneously
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
