About the role
- Program Manager leading cross-functional programs at Autodesk. Supporting strategic initiatives and improving internal processes with clarity and momentum.
Responsibilities
- Translate ambiguous goals and business needs into clear program structures, plans, and deliverables
- Lead programs from planning through execution, including scope definition, milestone tracking, risk management, and change control
- Drive program consistency by establishing and reinforcing best practices, tools, and operating rhythms
- Support prioritization and sequencing of work across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Coordinate day-to-day program activities, including working sessions, stakeholder reviews, and decision forums
- Identify dependencies, surface risks, and proactively remove blockers to maintain program momentum
- Ensure alignment across cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations
- Improve program effectiveness by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance planning, and increase visibility
- Establish and maintain program reporting frameworks, including dashboards, status updates, and performance tracking
- Partner with leaders across the organization to support execution of strategic initiatives
- Communicate program status, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Build strong working relationships across a matrixed, global organization
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience in program management, project management, or business/operations roles
- Proven experience leading multiple complex initiatives simultaneously from planning through delivery
- Proven experience partnering with senior leadership teams on complex initiatives
- Experience working closely with high-impact customers
- Strong organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, and execution
- Experience managing external vendors or strategic partners
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
