About the role
- Senior Project Coordinator overseeing project execution at Bird construction in Mississauga. Collaborating with project managers and site teams to ensure effective project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Project Managers and Site Superintendents for project execution
- Support opportunity management and business development
- Assist in preconstruction planning and administrative project setup
- Collaborate on tender package submissions and subcontractor recommendations
- Monitor project budget, schedule, and productivity
- Develop and maintain positive client and supplier relationships
- Manage subcontracts and dispute resolutions
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or construction management
- Eligible for, or have attained, E.I.T., P. Eng., CET, or PQS designations
- 3-5 years’ “hands-on” experience as a project coordinator
- Ability to forge and maintain positive relationships
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency
