About the role

  • Data Analyst at Borrowell providing insights and analytics to support marketing and product initiatives for Canadians. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and data accessibility.

Responsibilities

  • Working experience with business reporting, forecasting and providing insights to business decisions through data
  • Demonstrated proficiency of SQL (INNER and OUTER joins, WHERE, GROUP BY clauses, and aggregate functions, subqueries)
  • Experience building, analyzing and validating statistical experiments
  • Proficiency with analytic tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar

Requirements

  • Nice to Have
  • Undergraduate (or higher) degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Science, Eng, or Social Sciences).
  • Basic knowledge of Python (numpy, pandas, statsmodels, matplotlib, seaborn) or R (tidyverse: dplyr, data.table, ggplot2...etc.)
  • Experience interpreting data to make business decisions
