About the role

Junior Project Manager coordinating stainless-steel pipe, component, and vessel projects for BUTTING Canada. Managing vendors, customer communication, compliance, logistics, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities

Lead project execution, procurement, monitoring, and successful delivery on time and within budget
Manage customer communication, reporting, and project closure
Coordinate sourcing and purchasing with multiple vendors
Manage supplier and subcontractor contracts
Monitor fabrication progress and support inspections
Optimize logistics, supply chain operations, and transportation routes
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, project requirements, ASME, API, AWS, ISO, and regulatory requirements
Develop supplier relationships and maintain stakeholder partnerships
Support the Sales Team with cost estimation for capital projects
Provide customers with project updates, conduct meetings, and provide technical coordination
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget objectives

Technical expertise in pipe spool fabrication and skid assemblies
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel internationally
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience reading and interpreting design, engineering, and construction drawings considered an asset
Knowledge of welding processes and code compliance considered an asset
Fluent in English
German considered an asset
Knowledge of applicable ASME, API, AWS, and ISO standards and regulatory requirements
