About the role

  • Bilingual Sales Support Associate providing strategic support to advisors at Canada Life. Collaborating with a high-level operational team to help advisors achieve sales and business growth goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic sales support to advisors to help them meet their sales targets and assist the sales team in achieving overall growth objectives.
  • Provide a high level of defined administrative services and support within Canada Life Advice.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support with a client-first focus.
  • Contribute as part of a high-performing operational team committed to our advisors' success.
  • Provide professional and knowledgeable sales and service support to help advisors win new business and retain and grow existing client relationships.
  • Provide administrative services and support to clients, colleagues, and head-office business partners.
  • Support and sponsor local and head-office initiatives by following specific administrative processes.
  • Ensure compliance standards are maintained and adhered to by advisors.
  • Take on special projects as needed.
  • Provide general support and coverage for fellow Advisor Support Associates.

Requirements

  • Bilingualism (proficiency in French and English) required, as the role will regularly serve both francophone and anglophone clients.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries; professional telephone techniques; tact, courtesy, and patience.
  • Adapt to change and meet project deadlines and/or requests.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach and take initiative toward process improvements and personal development.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively amid continuous interruptions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
