About the role

  • Bilingual Training Specialist facilitating engaging training for Indigenous community programs. Supporting the implementation of the First Nations Child and Family Services and Jordan’s Principle Settlement Claims Helper Program.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate engaging, culturally safe virtual training sessions for national teams, using interactive methods that support diverse learning styles
  • Deliver live and recorded sessions, lead discussions and group activities, and provide coaching to support knowledge retention and program success
  • Design and develop visually engaging, accessible training materials, including multimedia content, instructional videos, and interactive components
  • Ensure all materials align with branding standards and integrate culturally safe, trauma-informed best practices
  • Manage and maintain training content within the Learning Management System (LMS), conduct quality assurance reviews, and provide technical support to learners
  • Track participation and progress, gather feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement of training programs

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in training facilitation, adult education, corporate training, or program delivery
  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
  • A post-secondary diploma in education, communications, training and development, or a related field
  • Experience with virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx), e-learning tools (e.g., LMS, Articulate, multimedia software), and file management systems (e.g., SharePoint)
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to create clear, accessible instructional content
  • Cultural humility and a commitment to reconciliation and working with Indigenous communities
