Seeking a Delivery Manager with 15+ years of IT experience, including 8+ years in Program/Delivery Management, to lead a large P&C Insurance technology engagement.
About the role
- Sr. Program Manager managing global trade compliance initiatives for Ciena’s international operations. Leading program execution and cross-functional alignment for trade compliance enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of core global trade compliance programs
- Design, maintain, and evolve global trade compliance policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Build and deploy enterprise-wide training programs
- Lead cross-functional programs in partnership with Global Trade, Legal, Supply Chain, Finance, and other stakeholders
- Drive program and project management initiatives
- Partner with IT and Global Trade stakeholders to enhance import/export data flows
- Drive continuous improvement through KPIs, internal risk assessments, and corrective action plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in international trade, supply chain, business, law, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience managing global or multi-regional trade compliance programs
- Knowledge and application of global trade regulations, including product classification (HTS, ECCN)
- Proven delivery of complex, cross-functional projects
- Demonstrated application of project management methodologies
- Experience deploying technology-enabled automation and process improvements within trade compliance systems
- Experience using global trade compliance platforms such as Oracle GTM, SAP GTS, or similar systems
- Demonstrated ability to communicate regulatory requirements, program milestones, and governance frameworks
