About the role

  • Associate Program Manager supporting the CleanBC Medium- and Heavy-Duty Zero-Emission Vehicle program. Coordinating efforts and managing stakeholders for government-funded clean transportation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination of efforts to re-design the legacy Go Electric Rebates program, working with sub-contractors, industry experts and the client
  • Support the day‑to‑day delivery of the CleanBC Medium‑ and Heavy‑Duty Zero‑Emission Vehicle (MHD ZEV) program (formally Go Electric Rebates)
  • Coordinate rebate and funding applications, including intake, eligibility review, documentation, and processing of approved disbursements.
  • Track project milestones, compliance requirements, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure program integrity and audit readiness.
  • Maintain accurate program records, databases, and tracking tools to support reporting and government oversight.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for program participants, providing guidance on program requirements, processes, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with government ministries, utilities, Indigenous and non‑profit partners, industry associations, vendors, commercial fleet operators, dealers etc..
  • Support stakeholder engagement activities, including information sessions, webinars, outreach events, and program briefings.
  • Contribute to program monitoring, analysis, and reporting, including progress updates and briefing materials for senior leadership.
  • Support reporting on the telematics and data gathered from rebate recipients
  • Assist with program documentation, communications, marketing and outreach including guides, FAQs, participant updates, and success stories, while collaborating closely with the Senior Program Manager and program team.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or public‑sector/clean‑energy program delivery, including funding or rebate programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (public policy, sustainability, engineering, economics, business, energy, or similar).
  • Experience working with government entities; not‑for‑profit and/or Indigenous partnership experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of or strong interest in zero‑emission vehicles, particularly medium‑ and heavy‑duty trucks, buses, and commercial fleets.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills, with comfort using data tracking, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
  • Collaborative, detail‑oriented team player with a mission‑driven interest in clean transportation and climate solutions; financial and program design experience are a plus.
