About the role

  • Project Coordinator managing transport solutions for Ceva Canada clients in the defense sector. Establishing relationships, verifying documentation, and monitoring shipments until delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality service to meet clients' changing needs
  • Build constructive relationships with clients
  • Track orders with various suppliers and relay information to the client
  • Verify documentation and ensure it complies with requirements
  • Issue necessary documentation in accordance with instructions and regulations
  • Maintain certain reports (internal and external)
  • Monitor shipments until delivery and inform the client of any developments
  • Invoice according to rates provided to the client
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor
  • Respond to various quotation requests (from clients and/or international partners)
  • Provide innovative solutions to clients
  • Respond to requests for quotation (RFQs) and various bid requests
  • Work as part of a team and support colleagues during vacations and absences

Requirements

  • DEC (Diploma of College Studies, Quebec) or equivalent education level
  • 3 to 5 years in the transportation industry, including at least one year in freight forwarding
  • Comfortable coordinating FCL, LCL, breakbulk, RORO, airfreight and land transport, including oversized, hazardous and heavy cargo
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to think creatively
  • Proactive mindset and risk management skills
  • Focus on safety and compliance
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English and French
