About the role

  • Account Manager responsible for managing sales territory and driving growth in obstetric and gynecological products at CooperSurgical. Focused on expanding relationships with healthcare providers and supporting clinical education.

Responsibilities

  • This is an entrepreneurial sales position focused on driving growth in clinics with overlapping hospital coverage.
  • The role centers on educating and selling Cord Blood collection and point-of-care products for women’s health.
  • Responsibilities include identifying new customer opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals while supporting a clinically technical product portfolio.
  • Achieve Sales Objectives: Meet or exceed territory sales goals by developing and executing an effective sales plan with a growth mindset.
  • Business Development: Identify and develop leads for new business across all channels of opportunity.
  • Territory Coverage: Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on hospitals, physician offices, and birth centers, providing clinical and technical product support.
  • Pricing & Compliance: Maintain pricing integrity and contractual agreements in alignment with company policies.
  • Clinical Expertise: Complete all product and clinical training requirements; maintain proficiency in product knowledge, market trends, and disease states, including competitive offerings.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analytics to optimize territory management and inform strategic decisions.
  • Professional Representation: Represent the company at local, regional, and national meetings and conventions as required.
  • Administrative Excellence: Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks, including training modules, expense reports, business plans, CRM updates, and Power BI reporting.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the medical device arena, preferably with a concentration in women’s healthcare.
  • Comprehension of the Region’s diverse healthcare systems.
  • Aptitude for engaging and motivating by providing product & sales training to company partners.
  • Effective territory planning.
  • Large geographical territory management experience.
  • Ability to collaborate across a matrix organization.
  • Customer focused.
  • Results oriented.
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal day-to-day management.
  • 1 - 5 years of documented and verifiable successful medical sales, preferably in Woman’s Health.
  • Experienced in negotiating pricing.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
