About the role

  • Director of Sales Operations at Corel, a software company rebuilding commercial infrastructure after its Vector Capital carveout. Leading forecasting, revenue systems, analytics, sales programs, and a high-performing Revenue Operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Own how revenue is forecasted, measured, and operated across the full commercial engine
  • Report to the CRO and connect Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and executive leadership
  • Lead annual go-to-market bottom-up forecasting across all revenue motions
  • Own forecasting methodologies for new business, renewals, and expansion revenue
  • Facilitate weekly forecast reviews and provide executive visibility into accuracy, risks, opportunities, and pipeline health
  • Lead territory design, quota planning, and sales capacity planning
  • Reconcile sales forecasts with Finance, board reporting requirements, and investor expectations
  • Build and maintain dashboards for pipeline performance, forecast attainment, sales productivity, and commercial health
  • Define and monitor sales performance metrics and deliver actionable business analysis
  • Evaluate sales initiatives, programs, and investments
  • Oversee pricing approvals, deal desk processes, CPQ operations, and channel MDF programs
  • Support sales compensation planning, modeling, administration, and program effectiveness
  • Establish scalable quote-to-close processes while maintaining data integrity
  • Own administration and optimization of Salesforce, CPQ, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and related revenue technology platforms
  • Partner with IT and stakeholders on integrations, workflow automation, reporting, and user adoption
  • Improve lead quality, pipeline generation, funnel performance, and shared metrics with Marketing
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Finance, and executive leadership on operational priorities
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and business transformation initiatives
  • Establish an operating cadence that drives accountability and informed decision-making
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Revenue Operations team
  • Build scalable processes, tools, and operating models that enable growth

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Commercial Operations within software, SaaS, or subscription-based businesses
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, including building and developing high-performing operations teams
  • Demonstrated ownership of forecasting, planning, analytics, sales systems, territory design, compensation support, and executive reporting
  • Deep experience supporting direct sales, channel and distribution partnerships, enterprise sales, renewals, and expansion motions
  • Advanced expertise with Salesforce and CPQ
  • Experience with Salesloft, ZoomInfo, NetSuite or comparable ERP, and Adaptive or Anaplan
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Practical experience with SQL and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
  • Experience developing forecasting methodologies suitable for executive, board, and financial scrutiny
  • Strong business acumen connecting operational metrics to commercial outcomes and revenue performance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including senior executive partnership
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving, and highly accountable environment
  • Experience in a private equity-backed software company preferred
  • Experience supporting board reporting, value creation initiatives, carveouts, business transformations, or integration efforts is a bonus
  • Exposure to pricing strategy, channel program management, MDF governance, or deal desk leadership
  • Experience supporting M&A diligence and post-acquisition Revenue Operations integration
