Responsibilities
Manage the development and implementation process of the company’s products and services
Coordinate departmental or cross-functional teams, focus on delivering new or upgrading existing products
Monitor the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending
Organize cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project i.e. product on schedule and within budget constraints
Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading relatively small proposals or assisting with major proposals
Define, launch, and drive mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives in core projects
Lead the planning and execution of high-impact programs, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives
Resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways
Create a method of change management including ownership of a documentation library, communication plans, process training, etc.
Lead complex program management tasks and development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting
Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies
Ensure that programs are compliant with organizational policies
Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions in program management
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
Exercise delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects/programs

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
10-12 Years work experience in the field of program management and contract negotiation and administration within the Aerospace/Military environment
Good knowledge of ITAR is a benefit
Use of Microsoft products and other tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Business suite of products, Adobe, Kiteworks and SAP
Expertise in managing complex programs, including risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation
Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and engagement
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance optimization
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively managing shifting priorities and demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges.
