Senior IT Enterprise Architect / Strategist needed to lead digital integration and healthcare tech transformation for Supply Ontario. Hybrid role in Toronto.
About the role
- IT Support Specialist providing technical support for internal team at DataStealth. Ensuring cybersecurity best practices and maintaining IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial IT onboarding of new employees, provisioning IT assets and subscriptions.
- Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, online or in-person, addressing IT issues, troubleshooting, and resolving problems.
- Assist employees with software and hardware installations, configurations, and upgrades.
- Ensure that endpoints (computers, laptops, mobile devices) are properly configured and secure with up-to-date antivirus and anti-malware solutions.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist in the setup.
- Implement and manage software updates and security patches to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Create and maintain policy & procedure documentation for general employee use, or for other IT administrators.
- Maintain records of employee issues, resolutions, and configurations.
- Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices, password management, and data protection.
- Collaborate with the compliance and cybersecurity teams to ensure IT systems align with security policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Professional certifications such as Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Apple Device Support (ADS), CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ are a plus.
- Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of MacOS, as well as common software applications.
- Past experience with JAMF or general experience with Apple Device Management is a must.
- Familiarity with Cloudflare (e.g., Zero Trust/Access, WAF, DNS, and SSL/TLS) to support secure connectivity and troubleshoot related access issues is an asset.
- Familiarity with network configurations, security practices, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical clients.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Start-up experience is an asset.
