About the role
- Payroll Administrator handling accurate payroll processing for different employee groups. Collaborating closely with HR and maintaining compliance on payroll processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for various employee groups.
- Validate and maintain employee master data in ADP.
- Collaborate with the HR team on payroll-related matters.
- Enter timesheets, create batches, and import data into ADP.
- Prepare, calculate, and process payroll, deductions, and adjustments.
- Review and reconcile payroll records.
- Generate and distribute payroll reports by pay period.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English and French) required.
- High school diploma (PCP designation is an asset!).
- 3 to 5+ years of payroll experience, ideally in a similar industry.
- Familiarity with ADP or other payroll systems — Dayforce is an asset!
- Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced).
- Excellent knowledge of Canadian employment standards.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and a high regard for confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
