About the role

  • Field Service Technician providing technical maintenance for hardware and software products at customer locations. Responsible for scheduled inspections, repairs, and customer satisfaction in Montreal, QC.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, troubleshoots, and provides technical maintenance for hardware and software products and components, primarily at customer locations.
  • Performs scheduled inspections, cleanings, and other services, and carries out minor product repairs within an assigned territory.
  • Inspects products to ensure proper operation and resolves identified issues and/or escalates them according to established procedures.
  • Schedules service calls, completes all required documentation, and works with customers to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and understanding of product functionality.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in on-site services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record that meet Diebold Nixdorf fleet requirements.
  • Must be fluent in French.
  • Must be able to travel to the United States for training.
