Our top 5 banking client is looking for a Sr. Project Manager for a contract role in downtown Toronto, requiring 3 days/week onsite.
About the role
- Project Manager coordinating construction projects for growth and relocation of natural gas network. Collaborating with stakeholders and managing project planning, execution, and closure in a supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare cost estimates for company projects.
- Manage projects from design through project close-out.
- Help maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and carry out project planning activities in compliance with company manuals and technical specifications, applicable codes, and external authority requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain approvals required to carry out work and secure necessary permits.
- Support the timely delivery of projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in the regional on-call rotation to help provide 24/7 coverage.
Requirements
- University degree and 2+ years of relevant prior experience in planning and/or execution of construction/civil/municipal projects are required, OR a combination of education and equivalent experience.
- Fluent in French (speaking, reading, writing) is required.
- Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) is also required.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and coordinate projects is required.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent and a responsible driving record are required.
- Engineer-in-training status or a professional engineer license would be an asset.
- Experience managing construction projects for gas distribution networks would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Enbridge internal tools and internal standards and procedures would be an asset.
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite would be an asset.
- Ability to read construction drawings and familiarity with computer-aided design software (MicroStation, AutoCAD) would be an asset.
- PMP designation would be an asset.
