Responsibilities
Operationalize the Enbridge Safety Culture Framework by promoting and seeking out opportunities to strengthen safety culture attributes.
Contribute in the development, implementation, and sustainment of occupational health and safety programs, standards, safety cultural assessments, and training programs.
Provide support to operational leadership on SIF (Serious Injury and Fatality) prevention throughout the lifecycle of managing work activities.
Deliver detailed analysis and assurance of high energy hazards and their control methods.
Provide support to operational leadership by reaffirming safety standards and work execution management through detailed assurance of work activities and participation in corrective action plans.
Support implementation of Occupational Hygiene plans, initiatives, and monitoring. Additionally provide constructive feedback on program improvements to the Occupational Hygiene group.
Participate in small work teams on problem identification, and problem-solving issues to support continuous improvement of operational reliability.
Requirements
Degree, diploma or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
Four or more years of professional work experience in the Health & Safety field within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry. Note, without a degree, 7 years of experience is required.
Canadian Registered Safety Professional designation/ Certified Safety Professional or other Professional Board Certification is an asset.
A self-starter able to lead multiple tasks and work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to influence without authority and work collaboratively with regional site partners.
Demonstrated ability to be innovative, self-managed, strategic, and initiate and manage change.
Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
