About the role

  • Managing Consultant, Project Manager guiding environmental projects for ERM. Ensuring project delivery from proposal to report completion in consultancy-focused environments.

Responsibilities

  • Play a pivotal role in guiding mining, energy, and environmental stewardship projects from early proposal development through to final report completion
  • Help bring clarity and structure to complex environmental initiatives by coordinating multidisciplinary teams so that each project advances with purpose and accountability
  • Work directly with clients to understand what they are trying to achieve and help steer technical teams toward solutions that meet those expectations
  • Your contributions will extend beyond project mechanics
  • Support a broad range of environmental projects, champion a strong culture of health and safety, and help foster collaboration across ERM’s internal networks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of consulting experience in environmental or related technical disciplines
  • Experience in the mining and/or energy sector
  • Proven ability to coordinate and manage environmental scopes of work
  • Detailed oriented with strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while aligning with internal governance and direction
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a deadline driven environment with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated competence with core project management practices (change management, risk management, quality management, financial tracking)
  • Demonstrated financial literacy, with the ability to lead project controls activities such as budget tracking, cost forecasting, invoicing support, and understanding project financial performance.
