About the role

  • Growth Marketing Manager driving Joist’s SaaS acquisition engine for trades and home-service professionals. Owning paid media, funnel strategy, forecasting, and cross-platform growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and performance for Joist’s new customer acquisition engine across paid social, paid search, display, affiliate/partnerships, and emerging channels
  • Manage priorities, budget allocation, channel mix, and execution with the internal paid media team
  • Build and own quarterly and annual growth plans across Web, iOS, and Android
  • Monitor CAC, conversion rates, pacing, and channel-level ROI; reallocate investment to maximize efficient growth
  • Own acquisition forecasting for traffic, signup, and paid conversion by channel and platform
  • Orchestrate paid media, SEO, app store/ASO, and other channels toward shared growth goals
  • Prioritize and sequence cross-channel funnel experiments
  • Partner with Analytics on measurement, instrumentation, dashboards, and reporting
  • Provide strategic direction and shared oversight for SEO and Growth Analytics functions supporting Joist
  • Translate performance data into insights, recommendations, and forward-looking strategy for marketing leadership
  • Own regular reporting and business reviews for acquisition performance across Web, iOS, and Android
  • Partner with Product Marketing on positioning, features, and product launches
  • Coordinate acquisition handoff with Customer Marketing/Lifecycle for post-signup onboarding campaigns
  • Represent growth and paid performance in marketing leadership discussions and planning cycles

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or digital marketing
  • Meaningful experience owning a significant paid media budget; $10M+ preferred
  • Proven track record setting and executing acquisition strategy and owning growth-plan results
  • Strong experience partnering with or directly managing internal or agency paid media teams
  • Strong track record owning acquisition/growth forecasting and translating forecasts into channel-level plans
  • Experience building and prioritizing a cross-channel experimentation roadmap
  • Comfortable working across Web, iOS, and Android, including app store dynamics and mobile attribution
  • Strong analytical skills and fluency interpreting funnel and channel data
  • Comfortable with GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar tools
  • Experience directing or closely partnering with SEO and analytics functions
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence teams without direct reporting authority
  • Strong executive communication skills
  • Self-starter able to build credibility with cross-functional partners
  • Nice to have: experience in payments, fintech, or subscription/usage-based monetization models
  • Nice to have: experience with mobile app growth/ASO
  • Nice to have: familiarity with lifecycle/CRM platforms such as Braze
  • Must be eligible to work without sponsorship
