Responsibilities
The Learning & Development (L&D) Advisor plays a key role in the firm’s learning and development functions by designing, developing and delivering high-impact training initiatives for lawyers and business professionals.
Ensure optimal alignment with firm goals and create programs that encourage adoption and engagement within regions.
Work closely with the Senior Director, Learning & Development, SMEs, learning & development teams and other stakeholders.
Leverage best practices in adult learning and instructional design to build strong training programs.
Provide guidance on learning design, support needs analyses, create curriculums for learning & development initiatives.
Requirements
Post-secondary degree or diploma in instructional design, adult education, learning technologies, project management or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience designing and delivering learning programs, preferably within a professional service or corporate environment.
Experience with curriculum design and training program coordination.
Knowledge of recognized training methods related to adult learning and of best practices in project management and change management.
Understanding of the use of Artificial Intelligence in learning & development.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to quickly build relationships, bring stakeholders together around common goals, and facilitate training sessions.
Collaborative spirit and desire to provide excellent customer service.
Creativity, technical proficiency and a strong understanding of the professional services environment.
Strong writing skills to produce clear, concise, and effective materials.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
