Responsibilities
Oversee and execute the accurate processing of hourly and salaried payrolls for a diverse client base
Manage and execute government remittances such as Source Deductions, WSIB, EHT ensuring compliance with all regulations
Following Employment Standards Act, accurate payments for statuary holidays, vacation pay, overtime payments, terminations etc.
Responsible for producing Record of Employments, T4s and other government forms.
Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, addressing and resolving client concerns with professionalism and promptness.
Requirements
Experience working in a variety of payroll systems considered an asset
1-2 years experience with payroll required
Experience in client service where being proactive with problem solving would be considered an asset
Payroll experience required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong analytical ability
Exceptional attention to detail

Commitment to high quality of work and exceptional client service
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online and/or Wagepoint considered an asset.
