About the role
- Project Manager responsible for execution and delivery of GIS Services projects in North America. Overseeing project execution, customer relations, and management of resources with budget accountability.
Responsibilities
- Perform Project scope review and compare with the GE quote upon transfer of the project file from the Commercial group to Project management.
- Lead the project kick-off meeting with all internal contributors and assign roles and responsibilities.
- Lead the customer kick-off meeting to communicate the nature of the work that will be done and clarify any issues in the order.
- Coordinate all activities related to the project, including field activities
- Follow project spend vs budget (cost, materials, labor)
- Manage subcontractors for field activities
- Follow-up with GE procurement department on supplier deliveries
- Manage customer relations and satisfaction.
- Communicate and inform the customer of project progress on a regular basis.
- Perform invoicing according to the contract terms.
- Produce the project Post-Mortem analysis report.
- Perform the administrative closing of the project.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Project management experience (relevant to the role)
- Hold a University degree specialized in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Field
- Bilingual • Proficiency Spoken & Written - English and French
- Experience on SAP, Salesforce, primavera is a plus.
