Responsibilities
Animate technical workshops to understand clients' business drivers, network environments, and security requirements.
Design and present scalable security architectures incorporating secure SD-WAN, SSE, identity-based access control, and firewalls.
Deliver compelling product demonstrations, workshops, and proofs of concept that showcase HPE Networking offerings, including SD-WAN, ZTNA, SWG, CASB and DEM use cases.
Position and integrate solutions within the HPE Security and Networking portfolio, including Hybrid Mesh firewalls and cloud datacenter security architectures.
Contribute to business development by responding to RFPs, RFIs and security questionnaires with clear, technically accurate documentation and diagrams.
Collaborate closely with account managers, subject-matter experts, partners and services teams to ensure successful sales outcomes.
Present confidently to technical audiences and decision-makers, including security managers and architects.
Provide field feedback to product and engineering teams to influence roadmap and solution improvements.
Travel across the region to attend customer meetings, partner engagements, workshops and industry events.
Requirements
More than 5 years of experience in pre-sales technical roles, sales engineering, or solutions architecture within security, networking or cloud domains.
Hands-on experience with SASE, Zero Trust, hybrid mesh firewalls and cloud security architectures.
Strong understanding of security technologies such as firewalls, IPsec, SSL-VPN, IDS/IPS and traffic inspection.
Proficiency in networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, BGP and OSPF.
Knowledge of identity and access concepts including SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC and role-based access control.
Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud).
