About the role
- Project Manager leading enterprise software implementations for Advanced Utility Systems, a utility billing and customer-information software provider. Managing budgets, risks, governance, clients, and cross-functional delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead software implementation and upgrade projects from initiation through go-live and post-production stabilization.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and customer expectations.
- Serve as the primary customer-facing point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Facilitate project status meetings, executive steering committees, and governance reviews.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including consulting, technical, conversion, reporting, training, testing, and support resources.
- Monitor project financial performance, forecasts, profitability, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with PMO methodologies, standards, and governance requirements.
- Drive proactive risk management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leverage modern AI technologies to enhance project delivery, productivity, reporting, forecasting, and customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience leading enterprise software implementation projects.
- Proven experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong executive communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Fully bilingual in English and French (written and verbal).
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and project management tools.
- Demonstrated experience using modern AI technologies to improve project delivery, reporting, documentation, communication, forecasting, or operational efficiency.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% throughout North America.
- Current, valid passport.
- Legally eligible to travel internationally, including required visa exemption or travel visas for entry into Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.
- PMP Certification.
- Utility industry experience.
- CIS, ERP, SaaS, Asset Management, or enterprise software implementation experience.
- Experience with change management and organizational transformation.
- Experience developing automation, AI-enabled workflows, delivery accelerators, or process improvements.
