About the role
- Seeking an Accounting Specialist to support project reporting and process enhancements within Finance Claims. Collaborating with diverse teams to drive efficiency and impactful insights.
Responsibilities

- As a key member of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in building and executing processes for complex reporting and forecasting activities, as well as supporting decision-making, and driving multiple process enhancements
- Your expertise will be pivotal in simplifying, standardizing and improving key processes
- Participate to project management meetings; Collaboration with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to ensure alignment
- Provide insights, analysis, modelling, tools, and business support to measure and track benefits of projects and initiatives and maximize productivity
- Support initiatives to enhance financial reporting and addressing business challenges and needs
- Propose, implement, and test innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness of reporting/planning activities related to project monitoring and corporate fleet management
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment. Foster strong relationships across teams to drive collaborative success.
Requirements
- Professional accounting or finance designation
- Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting – is required
- 5+ yrs of experience including experience in financial/data analysis and preparation of written reports of various forms
- Past experience with project management activities, considered an asset
- Excellent proficiency with Excel
- Proficiency with advanced analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Power Query, Python, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in a fast learning environment requiring agility and adaptability to change
- Discipline, autonomy and professionalism
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Can interact with various people at all levels of the organization, including management and some external stakeholders
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- No work experience in Canada required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
