About the role

Seeking an Accounting Specialist to support project reporting and process enhancements within Finance Claims. Collaborating with diverse teams to drive efficiency and impactful insights.

As a key member of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in building and executing processes for complex reporting and forecasting activities, as well as supporting decision-making, and driving multiple process enhancements
Your expertise will be pivotal in simplifying, standardizing and improving key processes
Participate to project management meetings; Collaboration with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to ensure alignment
Provide insights, analysis, modelling, tools, and business support to measure and track benefits of projects and initiatives and maximize productivity
Support initiatives to enhance financial reporting and addressing business challenges and needs
Propose, implement, and test innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness of reporting/planning activities related to project monitoring and corporate fleet management
Work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment. Foster strong relationships across teams to drive collaborative success.

Professional accounting or finance designation
Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting – is required
5+ yrs of experience including experience in financial/data analysis and preparation of written reports of various forms
Past experience with project management activities, considered an asset
Excellent proficiency with Excel
Proficiency with advanced analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Power Query, Python, etc.)
Demonstrated experience in a fast learning environment requiring agility and adaptability to change
Discipline, autonomy and professionalism
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Can interact with various people at all levels of the organization, including management and some external stakeholders
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No work experience in Canada required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
