Responsibilities
Lead the Platforms pod, owning the roadmap, delivery and reliability of InterceptOS and PartnerOS
Collaborate with business stakeholders to decide what gets built, bought or retired
Lead the Data & Analytics pod and own insights, data assets and context informing strategies and campaigns
Set standards for defensible client-facing insights
Turn data assets into commercial offerings
Work with clients and account teams to understand platform needs and create a prioritized PartnerOS roadmap
Identify, evaluate and acquire first-party and third-party data sources
Run vendor evaluations, assess data accuracy and negotiate workable commercial terms
Build the data offering by turning raw data into insights and context for strategy, creative and account teams
Own data governance and privacy, including collection, storage, use, retention and compliance
Set technical direction and make architecture and build-versus-buy decisions
Hire, onboard, develop and shape the Platforms and Data & Analytics teams
Report portfolio, progress, investment needs and risks across both pods and the data roadmap to the CTO and executive leadership team
Requirements
Six or more years in data and technology roles
At least three years leading teams, including hiring, performance conversations and development
Experience owning a platform or product end to end
Hands-on data background covering pipelines, warehousing, data modelling and SQL
Experience sourcing or licensing third-party data, including judging data quality and handling commercial terms
Working knowledge of privacy and data governance in a marketing context, specifically PIPEDA and CASL in Canada, and GDPR where campaigns reach the EU
Commercial judgment and ability to build business cases for data investments
B2B marketing or martech domain knowledge, including demand generation, ABM and campaign strategy
Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable working fully remote across a distributed team, with occasional travel for client and team meetings
