About the role
- Clinical Sales Manager expanding Intuitive’s robotic-assisted surgery systems across Quebec. Leading clinical sales teams, installations, surgeon training, and utilization growth.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop the clinical field sales team within the assigned region
- Manage and direct da Vinci Surgical System utilization within the installed base
- Manage installations, training, and utilization growth
- Hire, train, and develop Account Managers
- Develop and implement da Vinci Surgery sales activities to achieve or exceed senior-management goals
- Expand da Vinci Surgery usage in existing accounts
- Sell and train new surgeons across applicable specialties
- Manage training and education within the installed base
- Guide new system installation processes
- Prospect for new system installations and upgrades
- Provide the clinical sales team with new product information
- Work with training and marketing departments to implement new strategies and programs
- Travel moderately to extensively
Requirements
- Proven track record in da Vinci Surgery Sales or 5+ years of clinical sales management experience required
- In-depth knowledge of the operating room environment required
- Knowledge of the capital equipment sales process
- Previous experience managing and directing a medical device sales team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Training in field sales management, interviewing, remote field management, sales process implementation, and platform/presentation skills
- Must live within or be willing to relocate to Quebec, QC
- Moderate to extensive travel required
- May be required to provide current proof of vaccination against certain diseases, including COVID-19
