About the role

  • Director building complex partnerships for Jerry.ai’s AI platform managing cars, homes, and other physical assets. Owning pipeline development, deal structuring, closing, and partner success.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run the partnerships pipeline for Jerry's new product lines, from initial outreach through signed agreement and successful onboarding
  • Lead insurance carrier and partner conversations independently
  • Qualify partner fit and understand partner needs
  • Structure tailored value propositions and creative deal structures
  • Run partnership processes through closing
  • Own partner success after closing, ensuring partners ramp, remain engaged, and become long-term relationships
  • Contribute to vertical strategy and inform sequencing and structure of new product bets
  • Collaborate across product, engineering, data science, legal, finance, and executive leadership
  • Report directly to the Vice President of Partnerships
  • Grow the supply side of Jerry's marketplace and open partnerships for new lines of business

Requirements

  • 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategy consulting
  • Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Experience building 0-to-1, such as launching a new partnership category, entering a new market, or building a BD function without an inherited model
  • Background combining at least two of consulting or structured problem-solving, BD or sales execution, and early-stage startup operating experience
  • Ability to engage senior external stakeholders and navigate large partner organizations independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to present complex deal structures simply and credibly to an executive audience
  • Must currently reside in an eligible location: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada
