IT Manager role at Jesta I.S. managing IT services and security for internal users in Montreal. Leading a team to ensure operational excellence in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
Ensure end-to-end management of IT services for approximately 130–150 internal users in a hybrid work environment (remote and on-site)
Ensure the performance, availability, and reliability of infrastructures supporting over 400 on-premises virtual machines as well as cloud services
Act as the primary escalation point for critical incidents, coordinating root cause analyses and permanent remediation
Define and monitor key performance indicators, service level agreements (SLAs), and continuous improvement initiatives
Provide hands-on technical leadership in networking, systems, identity management, and workstations/endpoints
Lead the resolution of complex infrastructure and connectivity issues affecting internal teams or customer access
Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructures aligned with SaaS requirements
Mentor, coach, and develop the Systems Administrator, Senior Desktop/Workstation Analyst, and Security & Compliance Analyst
Define clear priorities, objectives, and responsibilities aligned with business and security goals
Foster a culture of documentation, operational discipline, and continuous learning
Ensure secure network connectivity for customers accessing Jesta’s SaaS solutions
Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to facilitate customer onboarding/integration and support
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
10+ years of progressive IT experience in enterprise environments
2–4 years of team management experience
Proven experience in large-scale virtualized environments (400+ VMs)
Strong knowledge of networking, systems administration, and cloud platforms
Experience with SaaS platforms and secure customer connectivity
Functional working proficiency in English
ITIL certification or equivalent service management training (assets)
