Project Manager overseeing environmental remediation and construction projects at KBL in Western Canada. Managing project budgets, timelines, and team collaboration for successful execution.
Responsibilities
Manage environmental remediation, reclamation, demolition, civil earthworks, and pipeline-related projects.
Prepare accurate project estimates, budgets, scopes, and forecasts.
Assist in the bidding process. Work as a part of a team to collect and compile needed technical information as well as general KBL info.
Ensure projects are executed in accordance with contracts, drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
Monitor project performance related to safety, cost, schedule, productivity, profitability, and QA/QC.
Manage project costs, forecasting, documentation, progress billings, and change management.
Prepare and review technical reports, project documentation, and client deliverables.
Requirements
5–10 years of Project Management experience related to General Construction, Mining, Environmental Remediation/Reclamation, Earthworks, Demolition, or Oil & Gas Construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction project management.
Post-secondary education in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management or a related program is an asset.
Experience managing projects in remote or northern environments is a definite asset.
Strong estimating experience is considered a major asset.
Technical writing experience, including reports and project documentation, is considered an asset.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
Ability to travel a definite asset.
