Responsibilities
- Plan and execute projects
- Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements
- Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage risks
- Lead Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies as needed
- Serve as primary client point of contact during engagements
- Build strong client relationships and communicate progress transparently
- Facilitate client workshops and presentations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams: data engineers, analysts, architects, consultants
- Allocate resources and effectively manage team workloads
- Ensure all team members are aligned on project goals and deliverables
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and profitability
- Monitor performance metrics and produce regular reports for stakeholders
- Lead post-project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within a consulting or data-focused environment
- Good understanding of data and analytics concepts: data pipelines, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), BI tools, etc.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications considered an asset
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Bilingualism (French/English) preferred for the Canadian market
