About the role

  • Internal Communications Manager developing strategic employee messaging for Liebherr-Canada’s industrial equipment business. Shaping leadership communications, content calendars, and cross-functional change-management messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with business and internal stakeholders to assess communications needs, recommend communications plans and solutions, secure approvals, and deliver communications solutions
  • Source content and feedback, assess information, and translate thoughts into effective communications solutions
  • Deliver high-quality communications solutions that audiences can access, understand, and act on
  • Develop the internal communication strategy
  • Partner with departments to gather information, understand priorities, and create audience-appropriate communications
  • Build creative content and communication strategies supporting business and leadership objectives across functions and regions
  • Support leadership in shaping communication strategies aligned with organizational values, mission, voice, and strategic objectives
  • Prepare, write, edit, and proofread internal and external messages
  • Develop and maintain a structured communications calendar
  • Coordinate messaging across teams for consistency in tone, branding, and strategic direction
  • Monitor communication effectiveness and recommend improvements using feedback and analytics
  • Support change-management activities from a communications perspective
  • Monitor NPS and propose actions to engage and energize employees
  • Track industry trends, emerging technologies, and communications best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in a similar role
  • Deep understanding of strategic communications concepts, including NPS, company social identity and voice, brand, market, and community awareness
  • Experience defining company voice, tone, and identity across social media, blogs, articles, Teams, and internal communications
  • Experience supporting leaders with a high degree of executive presence
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Diplomatic, proactive, agile, and adaptable, with a positive demeanor
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and balance multiple priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and building relationships at all levels
  • Ability to balance creativity with strategic thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to champion DE&I communication strategies aligned with company guidelines
  • Proficient in Microsoft, Adobe, and AI tools
