About the role

  • Senior Analyst, Vendor Loyalty at Loblaw driving supplier growth through targeted and personalized loyalty campaigns using data insights. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective marketing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Supplier-Funded Loyalty Campaigns
  • Execute and optimize targeted promotional campaigns within the PC Optimum ecosystem
  • Partner with Suppliers, Loblaw Advance, Loyalty Operations, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end campaign execution
  • Manage campaign intake, planning, recommendations, timelines, setup, testing, launch validation, and performance reporting
  • Maintain campaign calendars, execution trackers, and offer assets to ensure seamless delivery
  • Act as a key gatekeeper by validating offer accuracy, product eligibility, inventory readiness, and customer-facing experiences
  • Investigate and resolve campaign issues while ensuring adherence to execution standards and service level commitments
  • Generate Insights and Influence Business Decisions
  • Analyze customer, vendor, and retail performance data to identify opportunities and optimize campaign effectiveness
  • Develop recommendations on targeting strategies, offer structures, reward values, campaign duration, and customer segmentation
  • Monitor campaign and vendor performance using dashboards and BI tools, translating data into actionable business insights
  • Support supplier conversations by preparing performance summaries, business cases, and key metrics
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help evolve how targeted programs are planned, executed, and measured
  • Support Commercial and Financial Excellence
  • Develop pricing proposals for PC Optimum and Loblaw Data Insights Analytics programs
  • Track supplier investments, loyalty point funding, billing activity, and financial performance
  • Support contract preparation, budget management, forecasting, and reconciliation activities
  • Help ensure financial accuracy and transparency across vendor-funded programs

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in analytics, reporting, loyalty, category management, shopper insights, retail media, marketing, or related disciplines
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to transform data into actionable business recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SQL, SAS, or other data-querying tools is an asset
  • Experience using BI and visualization tools such as QlikView, MicroStrategy, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and problem solving
  • Experience in Loyalty, Category Management, Shopper Insights, Consumer Insights, Retail Media, or CPG environments is highly valued.
